Patient Information

Preparing for Your Consultation

The information below explains how consultations at Joko Clinics are organised, what to bring and what to expect before, during and after your visit.

How Care Works

From Booking to Follow-Up

1. Booking

Appointments are arranged by telephone or email. Our patient services team will help identify the appropriate specialist service and advise on any preparation, such as fasting before blood tests.

2. First consultation

The consultation includes a detailed medical history, clinical examination and review of previous investigations. Where required, further laboratory or cardiovascular investigations are arranged.

3. Diagnosis and plan

Your specialist discusses the findings, the diagnosis where it can be established, and a management plan. Treatment options and their expected monitoring requirements are explained.

4. Follow-up

Conditions requiring long-term management are followed within a structured review schedule, with treatment adjusted according to your clinical response.

Before You Come

What to Bring

  • A valid form of identification
  • Any referral letter from your physician
  • A list of current medications and doses
  • Previous laboratory results and imaging reports
  • Home blood glucose or blood pressure records, if you keep them
  • Your insurance details, where applicable

Practical Information

Fees and payment

Results

Laboratory and cardiovascular investigation results are reviewed by your specialist and explained to you. Results are released only to the patient or to a clinician involved in their care, in line with medical confidentiality requirements.
